Light Steel Houses
A light steel house is a modern housing system built with galvanized cold-formed steel profiles — far lighter than reinforced concrete, earthquake-resistant and fast to deliver. At Sungur Yapı we run villa, detached and semi-detached home projects end to end, from survey to turnkey handover.
Why a light steel house?
Light steel structures weigh roughly one sixth of reinforced concrete buildings; they attract lower seismic loads and, when engineered properly, deliver excellent earthquake performance. Profiles produced with millimetric precision at the factory are joined on site with screwed connections; no waiting for concrete curing, and construction time is 30–50% shorter than conventional methods.
Insulation and comfort
We use rock wool, EPS or XPS insulation in wall and roof layers. A properly detailed light steel house keeps heat in during winter and out during summer, significantly reducing heating and cooling costs. Options such as drywall interiors and fiber cement, render or timber-look cladding let you achieve the architectural language you want.
Process and delivery
We start with a survey and needs analysis; after architectural design, structural calculations and production, our own team completes transport and assembly. Depending on project size, light steel houses are typically delivered turnkey within 3–8 weeks.
