We Delivered Our 4+2 Twin Living Project in Çankırı!

The Twin Living project in Kayıköy, in Çankırı's Ilgaz district, has been completed and handed over. The 160 m² light steel building was designed to create two separate living quarters within a single structure. Thanks to its dual-entrance layout, both halves have an independent living arrangement.

Layout and Living Spaces

Twin Living was designed with a 4+2 layout of four rooms and two living rooms. Each of the living quarters, separated by two entrances, has its own kitchen, and there are four bathrooms across the building. Spacious balcony and veranda areas complete the outdoor use of both halves.

The planning prioritised the independent use of two living quarters within the same building. Supported by separate entrances and kitchens, this arrangement allows each half of the building to form its own daily rhythm. The balcony and veranda areas also strengthen the connection between the interiors and the outdoors.

Light Steel Structural System

A galvanised light steel structural system was chosen for Twin Living. Preparing the building components in a controlled factory environment and assembling them on site allowed the construction process to proceed in a planned and efficient manner. The low weight of the light steel system also helped reduce the load on the foundation.
